No I fear that privatization will lead to the imposition of additional rate hikes that will limit participation in park programs and neighborhood festivals. These important public amenities must be accessible to all Chicagoans as they represent important contributions to community life, access
to green space and activities that expose residents to the natural environment, recreational activities, and Parks are public resources that are central to Chicago’s position as a global, liveable city and must remain open to the public.
