Yes,Any additional affordable housing in the ward should only be added to replace some portion of
the units that have been lost in the last four years. Many residents believe we have an
overabundance of affordable housing in the neighborhood, and while I disagree that we have too
much, I’m sensitive to their concerns about an overconcentration of affordable housing relative
to other neighborhoods on the North Side.
